Cara & Bryn’s Wedding, Loseley Park, Guildford
I have known Bryn for many years and I was delighted to be asked to photograph his wedding at Loseley Park in Guildford. Bryn is quite a free spirit and luckily Cara being, not just stunningly beautiful, is level headed and managed to keep Bryn on track for most of the plans!
Loseley Park is a rather majestic location, set in Surrey parkland and yet still a family home. The Grand Hall with dark panelling and domineering portrait paintings is a perfect place to be married, a real sense of English grandeur. Cara had picked a deep orange colour and it was perfectly placed throughout the wedding – flowers, bridesmaids dresses, the boys cravates, her toe nail polish – subtle details that pulled the whole theme together.
Cara said that from childhood she didn’t like to smile, and I never forced her to, but when she looked at Bryn her face lit up and the smiles escaped.
