Farnham Castle and The Norman Chapel
I adore Farnham Castle. It is one of my closest venues to home and every time I go there, I discover somewhere new to use for photographs. The building itself is wonderful and then it just keeps giving with the extensive grounds, the chapel, the keep, reaching views over Farnham Town – need I say more.
The castle has a rich history and has been continuously occupied for over 900 years and one of the most important historical buildings in the south of England. The castle is constantly updated and has all the stylish facilities making it one of the places to hold your special day.
I was lucky enough to photograph the first Wedding Blessing in the Norman Chapel at Farnham Castle. It is a cosy space with light streaming in through the chapel windows and is the oldest part of the Bishop’s Palace. Matthew and Tatiana were married abroad but wanted a very good friend and local vicar to perform a blessing. It was the absolute perfect venue for their day.
