Suzanne & Dave’s Wedding at Winchester
Small but absolutely perfectly formed is how I describe this wedding. A very intimate affair attended by the people who were the very closest to them. Suzanne and Dave are a very lovely couple who have a very kind, loving and funny family and I felt very special to be the 13th guest as they really made me feel part of their day.
Winchester Registry Office is set in a magnificent old building just across from The Great Hall. Dave, as a surprise, had arranged for his bride to arrive in fitting style in an elegant carriage pulled by two immaculate grey horses. Suzanne was overwhelmed by the gesture and looked stunning when she arrived, her beautiful white gown and brightly coloured bouquet decorated with pheasant feathers to reflect their country way of life. And Dave looked very handsome too in his blue tweed handmade suit and shotgun cartridge bracelet. Every detail had a been considered and had a special significance.
The ceremony was very emotional, every word they said was meant and you can tell that this couple have something very special. Lots of laughter and scattering of tears, a wonderful wedding for a wonderful couple.
